What if your project looked like this? This was made with just construction paper (12,000 pieces!!)

It looks like we’ll all be able to finish our stop animation videos today.  We’ll finish taking pictures and then import the pictures into iMovie. Once you’ve finished your videos – “share” them to our class Youtube account.  I’ll have the login and password available in the classroom.

Here is a step-by-step guide to how to edit a video on iMoive and upload to YouTube.

Once your video is uploaded, share the youtube link with your group. Then, each group member should create a Creativity and Innovation page in their portfolio. On the Creativity page – you should write a short description of your video (see below) and provide a link to it.

In your description, please respond to the following:

Tell a little about your video – the topic, the process you went through to develop the story line, how you think it might help students to understand the concept, etc.  Then, talk about educational video in general. Find a resource online that talks about the merits of student-generated educational videos.  Talk about how you agree and/or disagree with the resource you located.  What advice would you give to students and teachers when creating videos?


1. Videos and descriptions are due at the beginning of class.
2. Bring your textbook. For the love of Pete – READ Chapter 5 if you haven’t already . . .
